  The Home Builders Association of Mississippi (HBAM) hosts the Best in Mississippi Building & Remodeling Awards Banquet every November. The Best in Mississippi recognizes the outstanding work of builders and remodelers throughout the state of Mississippi. Members of the nearly 4,000-member statewide trade association enter the competition in a variety of categories ranging from single-family custom and spec homes less than 1,800 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet. Other categories include multifamily new construction, commercial building construction, commercial building remodeling and subdivision development of the year.
