HEALTH BENEFITS PLUS PROGRAM:

HBAM Health Benefits Plus is a health insurance program offered exclusively by the Association for its members. The program gives the HBAM member the opportunity to receive a dividend and also the flexibility of choosing their own individual plan.

• HBAM has created its own Supervising General Agency (SGA), and it will be owned by the Association members participating in the Heath Benefits Plus program. The Association has partnered with one of Mississippi's permier health insurance agencies, Mississippi Group Marketing, to offer the health insurance and benefits through the SGA. The SGA will manage the program at the lowest possible cost, and as a participant in the Health Benefits Plus program, members will share in the pforits of the SGA.
• Money will be paid out at the end of each year based on the number of employees participating, length of time in the program and level of participation in the program.
• There is absolutely no risk to the SGA participant

The HBAM Member Benefits Committee has endorsed a proposal to add an additional health insurance product portfolio to the existing Health Benefits Plus Program.  Members can contact AmFed Companies directly or have their local agent contact AmFed Companies for quotations or questions about the program, which can be written as an individual policy geared to the sole proprietor or a group plan, for small businesses.
